Musician - Getting married is one of the most important days of your life, and certainly one you will remember for ever. I remember how much planning went into our wedding, getting the invitations right,
making sure guests would have food and drink that they would enjoy (and cater for special diets!) and making sure everyone
would have someone they would have something in common with to chat to over dinner. We wanted a relaxed, happy and joyful atmosphere with the celebration of our love and marriage at the heart of it and the music at
our wedding made such a difference to that being able to happen well.
Whether you are wanting Classical music for your Wedding Ceremony, elegance for the Wedding Breakfast, pop music
arranged for the piano and violin for the reception or a jazz band with a violin lead for the dinner, I can provide it for
you. I have also sung at many Weddings over the years and am happy to sing most things from classical to pop. I can play for
just one event or provide music that ranges from the central focus whilst the register is being signed, to background music
throughout each part of your special day. I am also happy to advise and make suggestions if you are needing help in deciding
what music may be appropriate for each event, but it's your day and the choice is entirely yours. I usually wear a simple
but elegant dress / skirt and top designed to blend with most colour schemes but not stand out (all eyes must always be on
the bride!) but if you have a particular colour or look you would like me to wear please let me know.
- Christina is also a composer and is happy to write a bespoke song just for your Wedding. This can then either be performed
live during the ceremony or recorded and played during whichever part of the day you would like. She would chat to you over
the phone and get to know your musical style and then ask you to write down things that are unique to your relationship and
any particular lines that you would want to say to each other which will then be written into the lyrics of the song. You
may also wish to have the song recorded onto CDs as a gift for your guests. Obviously all of this takes time, so if you would
like this service please ensure that you give her as much notice as possible.
