Christina Oxtoby
HTM (Heelwork-to-Music / Canine Freestyle) Workshop

HTM is Christina's speciality and greatest love in working with her own dogs, and also her greatest fun in working with other handlers and their dogs.

Christina is a HTM (Heelwork-to-Music / Freestyle) KC Judge and currently competes at Advanced level in Freestyle and Heelwork. She and Eze competed at the Crufts Freestyle Finals 2014, and 2015 finishing 5th in the UK and they have also been part of the British Team competing at the Open European Championships (EOC) in Holland 2013, and also part of the British Team for Germany 2014.

She is perhaps best known as the dancing partner of The Dancing Dane, her lovely Great Dane Ru who is the only Great Dane in the UK to compete in HTM and as far as they are aware the most advanced Freestyle Great Dane in the world (competing at advanced level.) Christina and Ru have been honoured to be part of the HTM Dog Activities Main Arena Display Team at Crufts for the last 3 years.

Beginner HTM Workshop

This workshop is ideal for dogs that have a good level of basic training and are able to work with other dogs around, who either have no experience in HTM moves (tricks) or who have some basic moves and wish to learn more. It will focus on teaching a toolkit of different moves, and an introduction to music.

HTM Follow-On Workshop

This workshop is a follow-on for those who have done some HTM already (from those just having done a workshop up to those already competing.) We will be looking at more advanced moves, and how to link moves, choosing music and motivating your dog. There will also be time to work individually with Christina so feel free to come with questions or problems (if you are starting to put a routine together please bring your music, a list of your dog's moves and any words (with double spacing between each line) to the music with you.)

Come prepared to learn, laugh and have fun with your dog.
