Christina Oxtoby
Dog Activity Holiday
Friday evening 1st - Sunday evening 3rd September 2017 (Spilsby, near the East Coast of Lincolnshire)
With Christina Oxtoby, Debbie Eales and Lorraine Rohland

Exact details for 2017 TBC but previous details include -

The holiday is held at the beautiful, rural venue of ICC Spilsby (Northcote Heavy Horse Centre.) Dogs and owners have a fun time, learning new things and making new dog and human friends. Anyone coming by themselves will be made most welcome and everyone will be put into a small group overseen by a member of the ICC Team to make sure that everyone feels welcomed and at home. Families are also very welcome and we just ask that children are kept under control around all of the dogs and other animals. There are many activities and everyone will be given a short taste of each one.

This holiday includes -

Agility - From complete beginner to competition standard (higher competition standard dogs will not be instructed but will be given practice courses to run.)

Heelwork-to-Music / Freestyle - Instructed from complete beginner to more advanced competition standard.

Fun Nosework - Tuna trails and hunt the handler!

Rally Obedience - This will be introduced at several levels depending upon the experience of each dog and handler team.

Fly-ball - Instructed from complete beginner to full course runs.

Barrel Racing - An introduction to this new and fun sport to the UK.

Competitive Obedience - Instructed from complete beginner to novice competition standard.

Beach walk - A 30 minute drive away is one of the most beautiful beach walks I've been on - quiet, dog friendly and unspoilt. We'll be going there as a group and then owners can decide to either walk together or separately - there's plenty of room for everyone!

BBQ - A BBQ is included in the price of the holiday. All other meals are also included in the price of the holiday.

Camping - Camping is included in the price of the holiday. We have good, on-site loos and water taps, and flat, level fields for camping. We don't have showers or electric hook-ups. If you'd like to join us for the holiday but not to camp you are welcome to stay with other local B&Bs.

We will have a separate group and challenge for those of you who join us every year to keep you on your toes and learning new things!

Would you like to join us? All we ask is that you are dog and people friendly and that your dog is able to cope with people and dogs. If they are not entirely happy around dogs or people please let us know so that we are able to advise you as to whether this is the right holiday for them. (Aggressive dogs will not cope and should not attend.)

Cost - This is amazing value at £150 fully inclusive per handler place. (Includes all activities, all your food and camping. Please just bring food and lots of treats for your dog and something to camp in.)

Extras -

Extra dogs are free of charge within one handler place

Extra tents / caravans / camper vans (in addition to the one per handler place already included in the price) are £10

Extra non-handling adults are £40 and extra non-handling children under 12 are £30 (includes all food including BBQ.)

We expect places to go fast so please book early!

The Feel-Good Factor! By booking onto this holiday you'll be booking a great holiday with your dog AND will be supporting the great work of Northcote Heavy Horse Centre and the wonderful work they do with rescued horses.
